Terms of Business

  1. Definitions
    In these Terms:
    “Company” refers to 23 DOORS
    “Contract” refers to the contract between Customer and the Company for the sale and purchase of Goods, in
    accordance with these Terms
    “Order” refers to the customers Order of said Goods.
    “Price” refers to the agreed sale price of the Goods.
    “Terms” refers to the standard terms of a sale, inclusive of any special terms agreed in writing between Customer
    and the Company.
    “Customer” refers to the individual or company named on the Order.
  2. Goods
    Goods will remain property of 23 DOORS until such time as payment is made in full. Risk in the Goods becomes
    the Customers responsibility once Goods have been delivered or collected by the Customer, or its nominated
    agent.
  3. Prices
    All prices detailed on our website or literature are given in good faith, and the Company reserves the right to alter
    any price before the Customer places an order, or cancel an order in the event of a pricing error before the
    product has been dispatched. All pricing is detailed in pound sterling and with VAT and delivery prices in addition.
  4. Delivery
    Delivery is to UK Mainland only, and unless otherwise stated and confirmed in writing by the Company delivery
    prices are not included in the price of the product. If a specific delivery date is required, this should be agreed
    between the Customer and the Company in writing before an order is placed. The delivery location must be
    suitable and safe. Should a delivery need to be aborted due to unsafe conditions of the delivery location, 23
    DOORS reserves the right to charge additional fees in order to complete the delivery process. If the delivery
    location is unattended when the Company is delivering the product, the Company reserves the right to charge
    the Customer for redelivery at a time when the delivery location is attended.
  5. Warranties
    Unless otherwise confirmed in writing, a 12 months manufacturers warranty applies to parts failing within that
    time frame. We offer a 10 year warranty on colour stability unless otherwise notified in writing. Wear and tear of
    the product is not covered by this warranty. Damage caused by incorrect installation or maintenance or lack
    thereof is not covered by this warranty.
  6. Ordering
    No responsibility is taken by 23 DOORS for incorrect measurements provided by the Customer. All of our doors are
    manufactured to the Customer requirements and if supplied measurements are incorrect this responsibility falls
    with the Customer. All orders must be made in writing, either on the Companies ordering form or through the
    electronic ordering process online. All payments must be made in advance of manufacturing beginning on a
    Customers ordered products. The company reserves the right to refuse any orders from a Customer. Any
    variations in ordering must be communicated with the Company is advance of manufacture beginning. The
    Company reserves the right to charge the Customer incurred costs for amendments to an order once
    manufacture has already begun. The Company also reserves the right to refuse to make amendments once
    manufacture has begun. The Company will make reasonable endeavours to make any variations before
    manufacture commences, and to keep original delivery dates but this may not always be possible. We strongly
    recommend double checking all sizing before an order is placed. The responsibility for providing all correct sizing
    and product requirements falls to the Customer. It is the responsibility of the Customer to check all confirmations.
  7. Products
    Any illustrations on the Companies website or within literature are for Customer guidance only and not to scale or
    a guarantee of exactness. Due to manufacturing processes, exact colour matches are not guaranteed but will be
    as matched as closely as possible.
  8. Payment Terms
    All orders must have a deposit paid before manufacture can begin. Payment is accepted via BACs and by most
    major cards.
  9. Cancellations
    The Company reserves the right to cancel any Order, for any reason, without penalty or incurring liability by
    providing written notice prior to manufacture commencing. The Customer is entitled to cancel an Order by
    providing written notice within 24 hours of an order being placed, and the Company accepts this cancellation in
    writing. Any incurred costs as a result of the cancellation will be charged to the Customer, for example but not
    limited to labour and material costs.

  10. Aftersales
    All issues must be reported within 48 hours to the Company in writing. Product failures, within the scope of the warranty will be rectified within a reasonable time scale, agreed by both parties. Neither party shall be liable to the other for any indirect loss, including but not limited to loss of goodwill, loss of business, loss of anticipated profits or savings and all other pure economic loss arising out of or in connection with this Agreement.
